5 reasons why your next surf trip should be to Agnes Water.

We can’t wait to be back in Agnes. For us, if we had the money, we would move there. It is the perfect little surf town, so here is 10 reasons why you want to surf Agnes Water.

1. An epic longboard wave (or two) awaits.
We loved surfing the protected north facing beach. All of the best longboard waves are north or slightly north facing beaches. Agnes delivers perfect for the mum and dad family surf vibe that Sea Chapel resonates with.

2. Agnes Water has great accommodation options for all budgets. If you want to stay beach side, the caravan park is perfect. Want to go off grid? Just up the road for a cheaper option. Want to mix up your surfing with some fishing? Head down the road to 1770. Want some glitz and glamour? Enjoy the numerous holiday rentals.

3. Good people make a town great. When we were there we had an absolute blast getting to know local families and were treated to some fantastic chit chats beach and park side.

4. Just because it’s small, doesn’t mean that Agnes doesn’t have quality food option. Some really fun take out and some higher end establishments await.

5. There is enough to explore around Agnes if the swell drops off. Bustard Bay, 1770 and its amazing river, Chinamens beach, Springs beach and 4wd driving south of Agnes are just a few options.

So, why not skip the normal spots and head a little north to Australia’s first wave (north to south). Surf Agnes Water, have a blast, relax and enjoy one of Australia’s best spots.
