Cabarita, NSW – Winter
The jewel of the Tweed, Cabarita Beach, Cabs, is an exceptionally beautiful beach. With two rolling headlands and an open beach north and south to choose from, it is a hallmark of coastal living in Northern New South Wales.
We were treated to a grid-lock of long boarders for about a week. It seems everyone from the Gold Coast to Byron heard it was on and had ventured to the jewel. The surf was ok. It wasn’t incredible, but better than what Coolangatta and Byron were producing that week.
As a photographer, there are some really fun angles to shoot from. Direct on the beach, on the middle headland, on the larger headland are just a couple of options to check out when shooting surfing at Cabarita.

Agnes Water
The last stop for rolling waves on the Queensland Coast. This beautiful coastal town stole our hearts and I can’t wait to head back for more warm-winter adventures.
