Crescent Head, NSW
Is this the best long board wave in Australia? It would have to be top 3. We stayed for 2 weeks and Ella surfed her brains out, I shot thousands of images, and we got our fill.
That being said, there is a quirky local vibe to get your head around. Once you do, its waves gallore for everyone.
And if the main point is too busy, you can head to Point Plumer. A fantastic camp spot, boat ramp and similar wave rolls through off the point. For short boarders, you have a few options between Main beach and Plumer, and most that come with camping options.
This stretch of coast is incredible. The Bakery is unreal. The pub is fun and the golf course is one of the most unique on offer.

Quobba, Western Australia We spent 12 nights at Quobba Station fishing and exploring. In our time we found two absolutely raw surfing spots. Both are nationally known waves, and a quick google search will have you saving these locations for that up coming surf trip....
Exmouth
Exmouth, Western Australia Nature, Unleashed. The end of the road. Exmouth is the last surf spot when heading north up the Western Australian coast line (that I'm aware of.) From what I gather, there are 4 main break around the same 5km stretch. Dunes is the primary...
Agnes Water
The last stop for rolling waves on the Queensland Coast. This beautiful coastal town stole our hearts and I can’t wait to head back for more warm-winter adventures.
