Gold Coast, QLD
The home of Australian surfing. The epicenter of surf culture. I crown the Gold Coast as the king, and the Surf Coast, VIC the queen purely because the Gold Coast has better weather.
Ive shot the Gold Coast since 2015. It is on from 4:30am in the morning. There is no rest for ocean lovers here and those looking for some serenity need to venture 45 mins south. From Burleigh to D-Bah it is a theme park of waves and some of the best in the world on their day.
Our favourites are Kirra and Rainbow Bay. And these spots are fantastic if you:
1. Can find a park
2. Can beat the 3 other people to catch a wave.
3. Have a super-positive attitude to life.

Quobba
Quobba, Western Australia We spent 12 nights at Quobba Station fishing and exploring. In our time we found two absolutely raw surfing spots. Both are nationally known waves, and a quick google search will have you saving these locations for that up coming surf trip....
Exmouth
Exmouth, Western Australia Nature, Unleashed. The end of the road. Exmouth is the last surf spot when heading north up the Western Australian coast line (that I'm aware of.) From what I gather, there are 4 main break around the same 5km stretch. Dunes is the primary...
Agnes Water
The last stop for rolling waves on the Queensland Coast. This beautiful coastal town stole our hearts and I can’t wait to head back for more warm-winter adventures.
