Overcast Slides
In a stark contrast to Sunday’s sunshine, smiles and good times, we felt the shift in seasons pretty quickly yesterday afternoon as the wind turned from North to South.
I was hoping it wouldn’t do what it did, bring overcast conditions BUT the waves were rad this morning. I guess one massive perk to overcast mornings is that it keeps people away. Ella had a blast and caught some of her best waves ever with 5 others out in the line up, all sharing and enjoying the more relaxed conditions, even if the weather did suit.
I hate shooting black and white. I’m not that arty, and I’m not 17 years old trying to understand the world around me. But one thing I accept with shooting surf is there are elements you’ll never control. Really, the only thing you can control is whats going on inside you. Your attitude. Your mind set. Your ability to take situations as an opportunity to grow.
Maybe i am a 17 year old trying to understand the inner world. *insert nervous laughter*.
Afternoon Update
Got the call up for an RSL feed (kids eat free Mondays and Tuesdays) and a late arvo surf from Ado.
Absolutely regretting it today. Got home at 9pm and kids straight up not vibing this morning. All self inflicted. But the arvo and night was fun.
