Bermagui, NSW

Bermagui was full of surprises, including Surfing in Bermagui. We were lucky enough to find some untouched spots on our travels.

There isn’t much surf in Bermagui, so you’re going to have to explore around the place. There is a pretty rad rock pool on the side of a cliff that has seal’s chilling on a nearby rock. The town is pretty rad too.

Our best surfs were had at Cuttagee beach. I not sure how to describe it as it at times worked like a point break and other times a open beach.

We also stumbled on a nude beach a bit further south that threw some real fun waves Ella’s way. There was a massive flight of steps to get down and some of the biggest ants I’ve ever seen in the car parks. Best part was we had the beach to ourselves all afternoon.

So, when surfing in Bermagui it is well worth to take the time to explore. Dirt roads and bush tracks hold gold.
