Sea Chapel Surf Photography Kalbarri Western Australia

Kalbarri, Western Australia

Surfing in Kalbarri maybe one of Australia’s most raw, powerful and awe inspiring surfing experience. We were blown away from the moment we drove over the hill.

We had waves for seven days straight. There hasn’t been many places I have wanted extend our stay, but this was one of them.

To my knowledge there is one surf spot in Kalbarri, and its a gem. A heavy slab thrown on a rock shelf that opens up and spits out. I could have shot here for ours and ours. It’s a shortboarders dream. A left hand point break that just seemed to peak as soon as we arrived.

Kalbarri is an exceptional oceanside town, with everything to offer. Unreal snorkeling, beautiful river, great people, enough cafe’s and shops to keep you in and a few incredible inland national park experiences.

Thinking of surfing in Kalbarri? Get your big-person pants on, take a breathe and ride one of Australia’s best surf rollercoasters.
