Everyone has their special spots, and opinions. Yet we think if any Australian visited these beaches, they wouldn’t be disappointed (unless the weather has a say).

1. Whartons Beach, WA
Whartons Beach is an absolute dream destination, offering everything you could possibly want from a beach. The waves here are incredible for surfing, while the sheltered corner provides calm waters perfect for swimming. Fishing enthusiasts will find plenty to love, and the pristine, crystal-clear water is simply breathtaking. One of the best things about Whartons Beach is its remote location—just far enough from civilization to feel like a true escape. Best of all, you can drive right onto the sand, making it as convenient as it is stunning.

3. Boat Harbour, TAS
Nestled on Tasmania’s northern coast, Boat Harbour is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable seaside experience. The drive down the mountain to this small coastal village is breathtaking, setting the stage for an amazing visit. The beach itself boasts fun waves, excellent fishing spots, and incredibly clear water that’s perfect for snorkeling. 8. Binalong Bay, TAS

The town itself is a charming coastal retreat, making Cabarita an excellent place to enjoy both great waves and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
